Chuck Hildebrand is an American artist who explores unnatural natural worlds through mixed-media work. She uses a wide variety of materials to co-create fantastical microbes, biomes and beings. She invites more-than-human intelligences into her practice and is generally surprised - and often startled -  by the sculptures and images that emerge. Her work is a continuous collaboration with unseen forces who participate actively in making the work.

She uses a wide range of physical materials to create analog work. Work is documented with digital photography without retouching.

Chuck studied studio art at Williams College and attended the Austin Center for Design.
